Ying-Ying book series:
To avoid spreading the covid-19 virus, some wonder what to do with their time at home. In addition, some are home schooling their children. May I suggest reading? The Ying-Ying books are recommended for 4th grade and older. Otherwise, you may read them aloud to your children.
Life lessons are woven into stories about a young Chinese-American girl, who moves from place to place with her single parent mother. They include interactions between diverse ethnic communities, sheds light on important social topics, and reveals a girl’s feelings as she is coming of age.
